Sliding menu: iSlide Pro Expanding Buttons Buttons - overlays
Overlay images for iSlide Pro Expanding Buttons
iSlide Pro Expanding Buttons has a special overlay file
format. If you want to create your own, we recommend you
load one of ours into an image editor and change it bit
by bit. This is safer than starting from scratch. We can
also create new overlay files for your incorporating your designs -
just ask us about customisation.
If you create your own, ensure that (i) your individual images
have exactly the same height and width as the base images; (ii)
place 12 images in 3 rows and 4 columns as shown, with a 1 pixel
gap between to act as a coordinating frame.
The functions of each of the images is fixed. You will need to know what these functions are:
- Level 1 closed folder
- Level 1 open folder
- Level 2 normal page
- Level 2 page - end of folder
- Level 1 page
- Level 2 closed folder
- Level 2 open folder
- Level 3 page - end of 1 folder
- Level 3 normal page
- Level 3 page - end of 2 folders
- Level 2 closed folder - end of top folder
- Level 2 open folder to match above
The menu is capable of three "levels" - where level 2 is
the first level of sub-menus, and level 3 is the second
level of sub-menus.
Dual logic transparency
The purple and green colours in
the graphic above are both interpreted as
transparent colours, defining the "inside" and the
"outside" of the effects. Where purple appears, the base
graphic is painted. Where green appears, the base graphic
also becomes transparent and only the background shows
through - a reason why hook menus are frequently used with
background images as well as base images.
